Installation & Care

1. Prepare the Area: Remove weeds, loose debris and unwanted vegetation before installation.
2. Install Weed-Control Fabric: Where appropriate, lay suitable geotextile or landscaping fabric beneath the pebbles to help reduce weed growth and separate the stone from the underlying soil.
3. Spread to the Desired Depth: A decorative depth of approximately 30–50 mm is suggested, adjusted to suit the pebble size and application. Around stepping stones, keep the finished surface below the top of the stones.
4. Install Suitable Edging: Use appropriate edging beside turf and paths to help keep the pebbles contained.
5. Rinse as Required: Hose the surface occasionally to remove dust and debris. For water features, periodically flush the stones as appropriate to clear accumulated fine material.
6. Use Gentle Cleaning Methods: Avoid harsh acidic cleaners and minimise exposure to tannin-heavy runoff where practical.
